So I’ve been on a sort of Nic Cage kick for the last few weeks. Before that, it was Kurt Russell/John Carpenter (the best of the two seem to go hand-in-hand, I’ve noticed). So last night I was watching “Knowing”, a copy of which I’d won in a charity bingo game. It’s no gambling if you’re doing it for a good cause.

Anyway, “Knowing” sucks. For one thing, everyone I know keeps calling it “The Knowing”, and I’m not quite sure why. Even worse, nobody in the movie actually says the word “Knowing”. The closest we get is Nic Cage (who plays himself in the movie, which I didn’t know until I watched it) says “I know it was you Dr. Flannagin. You left your colostomy bag at the scene of the crime.” During the movie, I drew up this little series of images the movie made me think of, or things that actually appear in the movie.

I do hope that charity money helps the cause, because if it didn’t we’ve all lost, and not even the caves will save us.
