Things are getting quite crazy. I usually do these “Stool” pages by setting up a pencil grid of 3cm x 3cm squares along the page, and using that as the groundwork for the frames (go ahead and measure them; they’re all proportionate). Today’s “Stool” is in a grid of 2×2 squares.

This whole week I’ve drawn full-page comics that require full thought (scripting, sketching, inking, retouching) and I’m way proud of myself. Last weekend, a comic from a month ago got some traction on Stumbleupon, and I think that renewed my zeal, in a “if you build it they will come, but not immediately, and not at once, but, you know…soon” sort of way.
