This comic is not meant to offend anyone or allege anything about what actually happened. It is my view of what took place, skewed for the sake of telling a story. But, in light of the fact that this comic is based on a real injury and real events and peoples, I’d like to take this opportunity to stress that this comic is, in the end, a work of biased fiction, and is about as based in reality as a political cartoon.
